The Browns named Jim Schwartz their defensive coordinator . Following his first press conference with Cleveland, some believe DE Myles Garrett's best days are ahead of him.
Schwartz believes every offense they face will try to neutralize Garrett in order to keep him from wrecking the game, but he has other plans.
"It's my job to give him some answers and to be able to put some pieces, scheme-wise and personnel-wise, around him to allow him to be free and more productive," Schwartz told reporters.

It's hard to believe Garrett can get much better after posting back-to-back 16-sack seasons. However, if Schwartz sticks to his word and helps build around Garrett, he'll certainly see fewer double teams, opening up more big-play opportunities.
Myles Garrett might get 20 sacks with Jim Schwartz as his DC. Love that hire. They'll have enough money/picks to revamp the unit to fit Schwartz

The Browns defense allowed 331.2 yards and 22.4 points per game in 2022 and things are certainly changing in Cleveland.
"I've had a lot of defenses over the years ... some of them have been real good and not all of them have," Schwartz added. "But the thing I've taken the most pride from is when people say that we play fast and aggressive."

Browns fans are hoping Schwartz can help them get back to the postseason, and just maybe, set Garrett up for his best season yet.
